The Bristol Grand Prix is one of the most exciting city-centre races in the UK. 42group is matching our love of cycling with our love for the city – helping the race reach its full potential.

Every June the Bristol Grand Prix transforms the city’s congested streets into a high-speed race track. The race attracts riders from across the UK and Europe who do battle to claim the prestigious prizes on offer.

All of us at 42group love cycling, so we were chuffed to help establish the Bristol GP on the national calendar. Managing PR, social and sponsor engagement we’re proud of how the race has grown.

We’ve helped get high-profile press coverage for the race and the riders. Social has gone through the roof, with 50% more Twitter followers added in a month leading up to the race, and an amazing 400% increase in web traffic. In total, we reached over 2m people through Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

Working with sponsors like One You, Pukka Herbs, Swagelok, Avon & Somerset Police and Bristol University we’ve maximised their involvement in the event.

The #BristolGP is here to stay, and we’re proud to be a part of the team for 2016 and beyond.
