In Bristol those people living with dementia are treated with dignity. It’s one of the founding principles of the Bristol Dementia Wellbeing Service

Knowing the damage dementia can do it was a project we had to become involved in.

42group has worked with the Bristol Dementia Wellbeing Service from the start developing a comprehensive range of  communications materials that have helped establish it with patients, clinicians, stakeholders and the general public.

We may be many things, but we’re not experts on dementia – the good news is we’re lucky enough to know some people who are. Focus groups with staff from across the service helped us develop a site that’s simple, clear and packed full of essential information.

Printed material is bold and on-brand, providing straightforward advice to those who need it most. We’ve even made them a film. Sometimes simpler is better.

The Bristol Dementia Wellbeing Service recently celebrated its first birthday (at an event we planned and produced) where representatives from the service shared the progress made. Almost 3,000 patients have been treated with a 100% satisfaction rate. We can’t take credit for this – that honour is of course for the staff – but we can say we’ve helped a little bit.

In a small way we’re proud that 42group is helping those living with dementia, their families and carers. It means a lot to us.
